M.J. Tocci
A 16-year veteran of the Alameda County District Attorney's Office (Oakland, CA), Tocci litigated both homicide cases and — as the head of the office's Major Fraud Unit — complex white-collar crimes. California Magazine named Tocci "one of California's most effective prosecutors." An award-winning teacher, as well, Tocci has taught evidence and trial advocacy in law schools for more than 15 years, and has directed and developed a number of training programs for NITA across the country, concentrating recently on programs addressing issues of gender in advocacy and negotiations.
