The founder of Trial Run Inc., Dave served as a federal prosecutor in antitrust and consumer fraud matters for 17 years before entering private practice for another 15 years where he litigated complex cases. He has taught advocacy programs across the United States and in England and Russia and lectured at many law schools. His numerous publications include Deposition Rules, The Effective Deposition and Effective Expert Testimony, all of which are widely used by lawyers in private practice and in corporate positions.

His cases have ranged from antitrust to toxic tort, and he has taken many cases to verdict for both plaintiffs and defendants. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Warren has also taught extensively at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), in advocacy programs in England, and at several major law schools. He combines his practical experience with a direct, "how-to-do-it" coaching style.
